Very central location,old money European hotel.
Lobby area under renovation,nowhere to sit except the roof terrace.
A bit to modern style after the renovation for what the hotel really is.
Cleaning staff was shouting and talking loud in the morning in the corridor ,totally unacceptable for this level of hotel.

There was a renovation in the hotel so there was one elevator.

the location is good
*the entrance wasn’t clear enough.
*the smell of the 5th floor wasn’t good.
*the air conditioning not working good, so the room was quiet hot.
*the car parking was too expensive 47€/day which is not fair specially if you booked a room and it’s not included.

Although the main lobby was closed and things got shifted around, it still was an excellent stay! The staff were wonderful and the room was really nice! It had everything I wanted and more. One thing I noticed was that when I left in the morning and had hung the “make up room” tag, I always returned with the room made up! Not so with many of the competitors, in Munich and abroad.
Not much other than the work going on refurbishing the lobby. I didn’t even hear anything in my room.

We have paid 1100€ for two nights and we had room probably out of 1960…..incredibly outdated and with windows above the kitchen. Windows you couldn’t open because of the smell. The airco makes so much noise that you think there is an airplane landing in your room. I have told this immediately when we arrived and no options were proposed. I stay so many times in hotels for my work but never experienced such a thing. The call themselves a five star hotel but it’s not worth 2. Will never come back. O before I forget, there is currently a big construction going on….nothing was mentioned.
