stuff was extremely polite and professional, especially Ms Suld from the reception, she is a Mongolian princess, very cute and polite, very professional and sweet person! thanking her immensely for accommodating our requirements to the fullest! but also ALL other people at the reception, so nice !! thank you!
the fact that breakfast is not included in the price, it is 50 euros / person for breakfast, it is a bit overpriced.

A Munich classic, amazing staff, amazing amenities, one has to make time to really enjoy the hotel.
Our rooms were extremely warm. We turned off all heating and turned the ac to cold but it didnt help. Also very low ceilings, I am not sure that lines with the hotel’s previous old world charm. The lobby and entrance is also very underwhelming. I feel the recent renovations didn’t do justice to this beautiful institution.

Location
The renewed parts of the hotel are quite anonymous, not at the level of the well known Bayrischer Hof. Looks like a medium level hotel. The lounge and lobby are poor, the warmth of the previous set up is lost. The caffè area at the entrance is extremely poor in furnishing.

Historical building, spacious rooms, very nice breakfast
Although the hotel is clearly historical and aimed at a luxury experience, given the very steep price there were several shortcomings. The WiFi was very slow in the room. It required a paid upgrade for a faster Wifi, but even the premium Wifi was slow. I requested to print a page from the concierge, and they were very friendly, but it took a long time and several calls to actually receive the printout. At night the hotel hosts a night club which had loud music, people coming and going all the time, very unusual to have the club share the same entrance as the hotel. The price is really quite high per night, even compared to other luxury hotels. (4-500 euros).
