Hotel Bavaria was one of the best experiences I’ve had throughout all my travels. It truly felt like much more than a three-star hotel. The location is excellent, and it’s very quiet and cozy. We really enjoyed our stay and had a wonderful time.

Clean and comfortable room, friendly staff, nice hotel bar and great breakfast.
Building and room atmosphere are not very charming/ rather sterile and there was a problem with the heating/ hot water, which was fixed during my stay

Cozy hotel, spacious room with minibar, very quiet for a good sleep. Breakfast was delicious, location is perfect for Octoberfest or Christmas Markets visits and staff is very friendly and polite.

Cute, clean, trendy boutique hotel in Munich. My room was so comfortable with large bathroom and balcony. Breakfast is wonderful. Staff lovely. Great restaurants nearby.
More residential part of Munich. A bit of a walk to center of city but not bad.

The location was PERFECT for going to Oktoberfest. Super easy to walk to from the Munich main train station as well. The breakfasts were great - lots to choose from and the staff was very nice and helpful. We were on the second floor and would take the stairs down all the time which was convenient.

Warm welcome at reception and able to accommodate early check in (arranged in advance) after a long flight. Reception staff very efficient and overall quite excellent and helpful (with one exception). Excellent breakfast! Dining room staff friendly, exceptional service. Facilities very nice. Soothing lighting in bedroom. Excellent switch operated black out shutters. Very quiet room on 4th floor facing back of building/courtyard. No street noise and we were not even aware of other guests. Beds VERY firm, but thankfully not uncomfortably so.

Great residential neighborhood with excellent restaurants within walking distance along our street. Highly recommend the Vietnamese and Italian restaurants facing each other at the clock-tower end of the street.
Everything you need within short walking distance in neighborhood, including a discreetly hidden and well air conditioned shopping mall. Downtown pedestrian shopping district and Oktoberfest grounds within walking distance also. Close to main train station, 5 minute cab ride away.
For those who need air conditioning—room is very hot in summer. We had low to mid-80s temperatures. There is good air flow with a large window and balcony door; however, there aren’t any screens so you may have to contend with occasional mosquitoes. We coped by leaving door and window open all night, then closing them and the metal shutters during the day and also closing the drapes. But the room can be stifling during the daytime. The ceiling fan located directly over the bed is a huge help. Just be aware if you’re not acclimated to the heat. With that being said, the hotel was full of European guests who seemed completely unbothered. Common areas and hallways were a lot cooler than the bedroom.

Very nice hotel. Breakfast was amazing. Everyone was super nice and it was a great boutique hotel
I was there during a warm spell. No AC. The ceiling fan helps but it could get stuffy.
It’s a little far from any of the typical touristy things but close to the main train station
