Disappointing
The room is clean. Location is good, quite close to the station of S-bahn, 6 stops to hbf station.
The staff at reception is very unprofessional! It shows that it can be payed by card, but the staff told us that it must be payed by cash, only cash! She recommended us to withdraw cash through ATM, however it would be an extremely high tax. The staff is so tough, even rude! Furthermore, we booked a twin-bed room which should be two separated beds in our room, but the fact is that there is only one bed with two quilts. There was a fire alarm in the midnight, so every customers waited outside coldly. The staff explained nothing, no apology after all-clear.

Disappointing
The location was great. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was alright.
Checking in took too long. And when we got our room (a suite for 3 guests), we only got 2 sets of coffee cups, tea mugs and glasses (both dirty). The slippers and ropes were prepared for 2. We tried to call the reception and housekeeping multiple times but no one ever answered the call. We called more than 5 times no one answered so we had to go down to the reception to get a tea mug, a coffee cup, a glass for water and a pair slippers. There were no luggage rack in the room, you can only either put your small suitcase on the rack in the wardrobe or put the suitcase on the floor. We stayed in the suite on the 5th floor which located at the corner where a huge Holiday Inn sign is at. That room was crazily hot and the A/C was working like a heater. The black carpet floor was very hot but we had no choice so we had to leave our suitcases on the floor. All our chocolates we bought from Switzerland (Laderach) were melt. The hotel staff only apologized and told us that it's summer and some of the A/C were not working properly. They didn't even offer us a new room. The A/C in the bedroom worked just fine so it helped us cooling down the heat in the living room which was very very hot. The towels were old, smelly and super thin. We asked the housekeeper to change and we got replaced with even dirtier towels. The room smell bad when we first entered, so we had to open the window, first to get some fresh air and also to let some cool air from outside in the room. The first day, we got 2 bottles of water (1 still, 1 sparkling) and there were 3 of us so we shared and thought we will get some more the next day, but we never got any, unless we buy. I'm very disappointed choosing to stay 3 nights in Munich here. I stayed in many holiday inn chain and this is the worst place I've ever stayed at. My mom and my aunt felt the same.

Location, breakfast and breakfast service.
Hopeless service, ignorance towards guests. Some of the staff who don't speak German. Double payment for the stay, problems with refund, incorrect details on the invoice. See how much you pay. They may charge a larger amount to your account. It will take a long time to get your money back. Look at what they wrote on the invoice, discription it may be inconsistent with the actual situation. Maybe my employees were bad lucky. But such hotel chains should not allow this to happen. Holiday Inn "Bad luck" shouldn't have in standard. The air conditioning was loud and less power, it was just other secend a wrong case in among many.

Convenient location, close to the S-Bahn. Several quite good restaurants nearby.
A bit too hot in the room and the cooling didn't work. Noisy if you open the window, but that was the only option at night.

the location was close to the venue I went to. Plenty of space to park. The next tram/metro station was a bit far.
I did not get initially the room size I had booked, but a tiny room for handicapped people on the first floor. I got a proper room after the second night. During the last day of my stay the bathroom had not been cleaned properly
