Location. Right across the street from the main train station, and walking distance to Marienplatz.
We could never get the room cold at night so our sleep wasn't too good.

Unfortunately, It was a bad stay.
Starting from my check In,
The reception staff gave me room 433. I was expecting a welcoming valuable gift as a Gold member and at least an upgrade for my booking but there wasn’t any. She promised to add extra Marriott points into my account but not done. Once I entered the room , the safety box was damaged. I called the staff many times and after a long period of time one came up and told me it is damaged another employee will come fix it. I waited for
an hour but no one came, then I went to the reception myself.I found a new staff who just started their shift that had no idea about my case!!
He came up with me to the room and confirmed the damaged box. He offered me changing to room 418 as a solution. I agreed and moved the bags myself with no help although it was not my mistake .Unfortunately, it was below my expectations because it had no view on the street as my original room. Not only that, the second sofa bed was not prepared, so -as no house keeping- the Receptionist himself brought bedsheets from another room and we prepared the bed.
It was a hard welcoming and an unpleasant impression.
Also, before my stay there was a transaction on my credit card which was no reflection on my bank statement till now.
And during the stay,A deposit of 200 euros was taken but till now not refunded back to my bank card.
Really, as a gold member in Marriott, I was expecting a more comfortable stay. Finally, I need a compensation plus apology after reviewing remarks mentioned before

Large room, comfortable bed, convenient location. Very good selection at breakfast. Parking under hotel. Very quiet despite a lot of construction work in the area.

The room was spacious and bed comfortable. The coffee machine, free water, and mini fridge in room were great additions. Excellent location next to train station, and easy walk to centre. Restaurant next door was good.
The rooms had climate control rather than air conditioner and so were still warm. Was fine with a sheet at night.

The location of the hotel was good; many places were within a 20–30 minute walking distance. The breakfast was also nice.
Upon arrival, the hotel required a €50 deposit, which could only be paid by credit card, with the promise that it would be refunded later. It’s been 5 days and I still haven’t received the refund. If they insist on a deposit, they should really take it in cash and return it at check-out. The hotel is already more expensive than many others in the area, and this deposit policy feels very unreasonable. We stayed in a room advertised as having two double beds, but the beds were so small that even two pillows couldn’t fit side by side — they didn’t seem like real double beds. For this price, and with such a frustrating deposit process, you can definitely find much better hotels nearby.”
