It was very close to the train station and a 15 minute walk to Marienplatz. It was clean and very comfortable.

I have asked the staff 3 times during my stay to provide me a single blanket, has been promised/confirmed 3 times, but it has never arrived. Moreover for some reason on the second day I did not receive cleaning.

- The Location was excellent for us as we travelled by train. Right across Munich Station (exit K).
- An overall good check-in experience (but had to wait for a few mins in an empty lobby before a staff come out).
I have to shout out much appreciation to Kate at the front desk who was absolutely on-point in helping us check-in, giving instructions, helping with our bags in storage, with a casual laid-back (in a good way) and friendly customer service despite what I feel is a short-staffed team. Paula also helpful in changing our room keys the following day, and friendly Elaine helped sort out our wifi connection issues when the hotel changed its login policy on our second day.
- Excellent room size. So refreshing to have a large room size (stayed in Urban King 26 sq.m) compared to other EU hotels at this price range. Also the high room ceiling height made a big difference in making us comfortable. Minibar fridge appreciated!
- Windows. Lots of construction and street / people noise going on around but large windows did an excellent job of cancelling out noise. It was nice to open the windows at a fixed tilt during the day when we were out sightseeing. When we came back, room circulation felt refreshed.
- Great bathroom size, big shower room, and large sink area to put all your bathroom stuff out on the counter.
- Shout out to Niels the bartender (u funny dude!) and gave great friendly service and recommendations at the Bar.
- Retrieving bags from storage after waiting for room: Confusion as check-in documents process started over again but I already completed that step and just had to take my bags out of storage to the room. Suggest staff to check with guests checking-in (that don't have any bags on them) if they already processed check-in before and may already have bags in storage. (I also should have been clearer showing bag tags)
-Confusion with storage room: One staff got a set of storage room keys and brought us to the storage my room. Imagine our shock when we couldn't locate our 2 big ass luggages with bright cloth covering. He started to ask me to describe the luggages when I began to panic if we had been a victim of theft. I asked if this was the only storage room, he said there was another. Major relief after he went back to get another set of keys to the second storage room and we found our 2 large suitcases. Can laugh about it now that it came out okay but me and my paranoid a$$ was seriously about to sh*t my pants when we didn't find them in the 1st room. SO, I recommend to the staff to indicate on the Bags Deposit Tag which exact Storage room the guests' bags are located. Saves time and heartache.
- Hotel entrance and lobby area vibe has kinda gone downhill since our last stay pre-covid 2019. I understand has changed from a Marriott portfolio hotel to a Marriott franchise hotel. Entrance upkeep and signage made us wonder if the hotel we still operational when approaching hotel from the station. XYZ Bar light sign outside not working, Aloft sign also not visible if walking to hotel from left side of revolving doors.
- Lobby completely empty when we arrived. Just us staring at another confused looking couple. After about 5 minutes someone came out. Short-staffed during peak times.
- Pls install grab bars in shower rooms to prevent guest falls walking out from shower!

Comfortable rooms, nice soap, very clean. It’s nice to be able to control the temperature in the room!
It’s okay that you have to swipe your room key to take the elevator, but it’s annoying when it will ONLY take you to your floor when you have other members of your party on a different floor. However, one can still take the stairs.

Ideal location near Hbf, and easy walking distance to what I wanted to see. Very nice breakfast, albeit a rather crowded location. Very helpful front desk!
My room was icy cold when I arrived and it too a long while to warm it. Floor in bathroom remained uncomfortably cold to the touch through the time I was there.

Wonderful
New and well designed interiors. Some innovative design moves with the bathroom integration into the room. Impressive HVAC - when the window is cracked open the AC shuts down.
Staff didn’t care much and was not very keen to share information. Just seemed tired and detached.

Very much meets the standards I have come to expect from Aloft hotels! We were only there 1 night though. Staff was very friendly and helpful!
It was a convenient location right across from the central Haubtbahnhof and walking distance to Theresienwiese (Oktoberfest). The area between the train station and Theresienwiese is not the greatest though.

Good location - opposite main station, easy walk into the old town. Pleasant bar, nice staff and a well appointed room. Free onsite laundry room was a real benefit. Generous breakfast with a wide choice. Big bedroom with plenty of cupboard space, shelves etc, iron and ironing board.
Room was never very cool - the air conditioning didn't really chill the room, just kept it at a reasonable temperature. Unfortunately the huge heavy duvet meant it was far too warm to sleep comfortably. Curtains not great for keeping light out. Shower temperature a bit erratic, often not very hot, and mini bar fridge didn't chill anything at all.
