Amazing thematic rooms. Entire hotel, restaurant, buildings, rooms , they all gives you this on the road American motel vibe. 300% worth experimenting it.

The Restaurant is very original, food is excellent and fresh, staff is super nice, friendly and very, very helpful.
I had had an accident the night before arriving and staff was very nice to keep my small ice pack in the fridge during the day so I could put in on my injured leg at night.
Close to Neanderthal museum and near the highways
Do not stay at the Motel to sleep. The room we booked had a shower that was partially broken and not just since our arrival. Maintenance hadnt been done for a long time, room was dusty, shower doors didnt close and had mold and water did not drain so within two minutes the room floor was flooded.
Since this happened Sunday evening it could not be repaired and we got a different roombut it had not been used or cleaned in ages, I have never seen so much dirt and dust in any hotel/motel room. see photos.
also the outside balconies are cute but since lights stay on all night they attract tons of insects and spiders and apparently never get a cleaning either. also makes it impossible to open the windows during hot night as no mosquito screens are installed.
The room also had nice boxing memorabiliacovered in years of dust and cobwebs everywhere and with rusty screws sticking out just laying around, just waiting for someone to get hurt.
one night lamp didnt work, the other was plugged into the only electricity socked, so you could either charge your phone or get a night lamptotally covered in dust too
the shower door in this room also didnt close well but water only reached the toilet didnt se the whole room under water.
When I mentioned all this at check out (we would have left and searched for a different stay had I not been injured) the lady first said shed give us a discount and took the price of two breakfasts off the total, then told us shed done that because the second room we had been moved to had been an upgrade and was more expensive but since we had not asked for it she took the extra charge off.
whatever. Wouldnt go back and stay there if it was free.

Great location. Excellent restaurant.
Rooms have very low facilities. Ventilator makes huge noise. There is no cooling system for summer. On Sundays breakfast starts from 9 and check out is 11.
We couldn't arrange it intime and staff opened the door and came in during we were changing clothes. Rooms has no phone but they can remind by calling or mobile.
Very rude staff for cleaning and check out.
During travel my car got engine problem and I should turn on for while for be able to drive. Male staff spoke very aggressive that "here is Germany and private place you should turnoff car". No need to add that they speak English in A1 level.

location: 5 min from highway
restaurant: kitchen closes at 9pm, we could still have a proper dinner on site even we arrived late. variable and tasty food.
staffs: they are very very friendly and helpful.
pillow is too soft. the room would be perfect if there were more hooks or hangers for clothes.

A beautiful themed room with a Hollywood theme. Lots of attention to detail with the floors, pictures on the walls and other little details. Clean warm room, clean showers and overall great experience. Great restaurant next to the hotel.

The style of the room (Hawai), the cleanliness, the free coffee in the morning, the restaurant was amazing, also completely in style
Due to it's location, it's perfect for business or a stop for one night. Not a good location if you actually want see things by foot

This property and the rooms is a must see. Parking places are plenty, the one way system how to drive is smartly done. We'll be back.
The fact that the shower is open is not ideal. The water goes everywhere and sits on the floor also in front of the toilet all day.
