It was a spacious sort of flat (bathroom downstairs). Basic, but with everything we needed and very clean. Heating worked fine. Very friendly and efficient staff. Breakfast was a savoury continental breakfast, more than enough choices for us. Free parking, but limited spaces (no problem the 1st night, and we found on the road the 2nd night). Within walking distance of the station and the city centre (parking would have been difficult in the city center during the Christmas market).
The water in the shower went from hot to cold and back again.

I did not stay at the hotel. When I realised that there were no staff on duty at the time I would check in and no food available I decide to stay in a proper hotel - an Ibis in Düsseldorf (24/7 service). Sorry but any hotel that cannot provide a receptionist until at least 23.00 is off my list
