Lovely place to stay en route back to the UK. Staff all very friendly and we had a super meal in the restaurant. We slept well and everything was great. Thank you
It would have been lovely to have had tea and coffee making facilities in the room. I do like a cup of tea in bed.

The room was nice. Bed was good. Breakfast was complete with a very large choice of different fruitjuices. Parking for the car was good. Location is close to the motorway but very quiet. We will go back.

The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are well equipped and the showers are excellent. The food, evening meal, and breakfast are German style and good for traveling. The local wines are a fine match to the food.
Parking around the hotel is available, but could be taken by restaurant customers. So you may need to park on a local street. Google has problems navigating around the local bridge repairs.

We stopped for the night in Merzig on our way to Austria. The location close to the high way was convenient. They were so kind to allow us to have a last-minute late dinner in the hotel (the food was very nice !). Breakfast was very good with lots of fresh food. Rooms were decent, excellent price-quality ratio.

Chose the hotel because it had parking. Arrived having driven nearly 300 miles (spending 2.5 hrs. In a traffic jam)it was pouring with rain when we arrived, asked at reception where to park was told across the road or around the hotel. No space whatsoever! Went back in to ask again and was told that the locals take up the parking spaces when the Christmas market is on! Where are the poor guests supposed to park? That is simply not good enough especially for two pensioners.

The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable, with good curtains.
The doors to the rooms were very noisy and the parking is limited when the restaurant is busy, we were lucky to get a space outside by squeezing in behind a tree.
