The western athomesphere was nice and something different, having the car parked so close to the rooms was very handy, and being in a log cabin was much nicer than a tall hotel with hundreds of rooms and guests
The rooms weren't very clean and there were lots of flies when we arrived. We couldn't use the restaurant as it was closed for short of staff, which i understand is not the hotel's fault, but it was an inconvenience

Very clean, warm, well equipped inside with fantastic shower. Convenient parking. Pets welcome but charged at 12 euro per pet per night, with the added price not specified on the website until booking through and property contacted for details.
Last check in 21:00. Website clearly advertises that the kitchen is open till 23:00, but upon our arrival at 20:00 on Fri night we were told no food was being served in the American style bar (main attraction for us when booking) and that burgers were served / kitchen was open on Mon and Tue only. Also, big event on Sat night at the bar, although the noise settled by 23:00.

Very helpful staff, we arrived late and he stayed to check us in. Rooms are fine with parking directly outside the door. Breakfast was OK and tasty. Price reasonable, and a good place if you are staying with dogs.
The location is a little noisy - industrial area.

Room was good and beds were comfortable
They had no staff to run the restaurant which caused us the inconvenience of having to find somewhere at the end of a long day. There was a mix up over breakfast that could have been better organised.

Very friendly staff, did their best. Good connection to the Marl industrial site.
Very off the beaten path. Can only be reached comfortably by car. The night we wanted to eat in, the restaurant was closed because of lack of staff.

We have stayed here before and like it, the location is great when travelling with dogs, nice walks just around the corner. Fairly quiet rooms, although this time we were woken by someone driving up to the house with loud music on and then banging the doors. Breakfast is not the largest but very good! Super nice staff! We were offered coffee to bring when we checked out, much appreciated! You pay an extra 10 per dog which we think is reasonable, we know that it will require more cleaning when dogs stay in the rooms. The motell is located in an industrial park and it's a calm and quiet location which we find to be very good.
Last time we stayed here we had a good meal and that is one of the reasons we booked this place - it's nice to be able to eat at the motell after a long drive, instead if going out and finding a restaurant. But this time we found out that, due to staff shortage, the restaurant is only open on Mondays and Tuesdays. This information had not reached us before and we could not find it on the webpage. So that was a dissapointment. It would have been a lot better to have that information before arrival. Also, when we booked the price was 78 incl breakfast, but we had to pay 78 plus 9,90 for breakfast per person (did not notice it until after we left). Since the restaurant is closed most days and breakfast cost extra I'm not sure we will book here again, it's not really value for money anymore.
