Location was perfect. It's a grand old hotel that needs some TLC, but I enjoy staying there when in Mannheim. The room was fine, the breakfast choices were plentiful and the staff were kind and friendly. I will stay here again next time.

The hotel is in a very nice location, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. One practical advantage is the direct access to an underground public parking, though it comes at an extra cost.
Unfortunately, the overall condition of the hotel was disappointing. The rooms are very old and poorly maintained, and the bathroom was barely functional—the toilet flush didn’t work properly, and the shower setup was quite inconvenient. While the photos give the impression of a well-kept place, the actual facilities are far from that standard. It might have been an excellent hotel 20–30 years ago, but it clearly hasn’t been renovated or upgraded since.
We had planned a longer stay but ended up checking out after just one night.

There was no aircon at all and we ask about the fan then they said they don’t have any spare.
