This family-run hotel is surrounded by beautiful scenery and hiking routes here in the Black Forest Nature Park. Hotel-Restaurant Jägerhof offers a traditional restaurant and country-style rooms with free Wi-Fi. Comfy but dated accommodation. Very pleasant and welcoming host even with language barrier. Easy parking outside.

Great location, very calm, right in the Schwartzwald. Our room was on top with great view on the forest and small spring/pond. Simple but good breakfast. Hotel is from 1980-s so the furniture and decoration are correspondingly. For us was fine, but it worth to mention that this is not a "brand new" design. Old family hunting house with own style - we liked a lot as it is very authentic to the place. Very clean, room cleaning everyday. Tasty lunch.
WiFi was relative weak. Almost no phone signal, so data internet is also hardly working. Temperature in the room was a bit cold for us (we like it warm like 23 degree) but good to sleep. No dinner after 19.00 though we we warned about it in advance by booking. Yet one should know as it's called "Hotel-Restaurant", the least is pretty limited. Price was ok considering inflation, yet I would expect slightly better price/performance.

Off the beaten track, quiet, in the trees and deer in the paddock. Friendly staff, lovely dinner and reasonably priced.
No tea n coffee facilities in the room or water only tap. Quite old fashioned but in a nice way.

Very friendly staff. Helpful to provide information about the area. Dinner very well prepared and recommended. Beautiful view from the balcony, completely in nature. We can only recommend this hotel to relax.

Traditional decor, spotlessly clean. Great top room with mezzanine. Frau Stürner is super friendly. Lots of parking outside the hotel. NB Mondays and Tuesdays are Rest days for Staff so found the restaurant closed. Frau Stürner kindly directed us to a hotel 10min walk away which was lovely.
N.a. As a tip, having an EV charging facility overnight would be great.

We like the location for getting to the places we visit in Germany. The hotel is quiet and is in beautiful surroundings. The staff are amazing and hostess Angela is super helpful.
