We liked everything about this place. Its so unique and different. The room was spacious and clean and The bar had a huge menu. The reception staff was incredibly kind, especially considering that I was not speaking my native language.
Only thing is that we Found some silverfish in the bathroom/room.

As mentioned in the title it was a great opportunity to enjoy Hundertwasser's architecture. Not only the outside but also the inside is the world of Hundertwasser. This hotel is located near the central station, and the tram stop is just in front of the hotel thus convenient for sightseeing.
The room was cramped for its price. The "don't disturb/clean up the room" tag was missing (thus I was a bit disturbed next morning).

I loved the special Hundertwasser building, I enjoyed the sunny common terrace with real green grass on the 1st floor, where you sit outside. Friendly, helpful staff. comfortable bed, big bedroom. Unique tiles in the bathroom, good high pressure water in the shower. We didn't have breakfast, so I don't have opinion about it. Closeby the river Elba, shopping mall, restaurants, bakeries. Don't miss the Hundertwasser guided tour in German!

The place, the staff, and the service were all perfect!
I need to think hard about it...ok I found one! The pavement outside is a bit curved, thus, the tables are not aligned, and maybe my boiled egg could roll and fall down :) but still, they have many eggs to try :)

Room overlooking garden and courtyard was quiet and arty touches everywhere you look
Parking was difficult to access so better description of how to access would have been a big help - robes and slippers would have been welcomed

And now for something completely different... The building and all rooms are a nice contrast with all historical buildings in the neighbourhood.

The Hotel is in a perfect location for exploring the old town of Magdeburg The Hotel is very unique in its design and had a very pleasant atmosphere
Although some staff were very helpful others were without concern for our comfort Booked a double room but was put into a triple room without being asked or informed After moving to a room with air conditioning (a double room) the air conditioner did not work. Informed the staff the first night, they said they would look into it. They were unable to repair the air conditioner the first night, they said they would repair the next day. I reminded the front desk in the morning the the AC needed repair. They assured me it would be done. Returned in the evening, it still did not work. Asked about it at the front desk, they first said the air conditioner was not repairable. NO apology, When I asked why they did not then change our room when the realized the AC did not work they asked me why I did not inform them of the problem in the morning. I explained we did indeed remind them in the morning....to which his reply was "well I did not know that". Still no apology or attempt to make it right. Worst customer service I had over 10 different hotels while in Germany.
