Large, recently renovated shower with good water pressure and drainage. Comfortable bed.
The guesthouse was nowhere near full, as evidenced by the many keys still available at checkin, but I was put into a room that was right at the stairwell (#12). Other rooms were tucked away behind secondary closed doors, but in this one, I could hear people moving up and down the stairs throughout the night and early in the morning. Could have used another pillow as well.

Breakfast offered a full and varied selection of hot and cold items, served in several attractive dining areas. The room offered a spacious and clean accommodation, providing also a comfortable sitting area and luggage storage area. Allowed us to be out of the Lindau city area, in quiet more rural setting, yet the city tax paid results in a public transit pass for unlimited and easy bus or train shuttle to Lindau. plenty of parking available.

Wonderful
Quiet and comfortable room. Room 32 is on the basement but it has a terrace with table and chairs to sit. Room is very well lit with natural light and well ventilated - heated. Nearby passing train is not disturbing at all.
Breakfast is good with variety of chooses. The inhouse restaurant offers traditional local German cuisine and is recommended.

It was nice and very cosy room, very tiny, but big enough for one person. Very clean and neat. The staff was nice, they spoke english, which was good.

Breakfast was good. Typical of German breakfast’s with deli meats and cheeses. Also fantastic breads. The setting was super. I’d like a few more pastries and perhaps cereals and fresh fruits.
The room was in the cellar of an apartment and it provided sleep and showers. Could have been better appointed. The silverware was dirty in the cupboard. The knife was sticky. Minor, easy to fix things and would not prevent me from visiting again.

The room is clean and the bathroom is big and clean. They provide a free card of the area (included in the price of accommodation), which includes free transport with regional buses and trains in the area, but you have to be careful which is the company operating the bus or train, because only certain operators are free with your card!!! Also, from our experience, this card didn't seem to be too useful, because you do not get even a small discount for lots of important attractions in the area: Zeppelin Museum and Dornier Museum in Friedrichshafen don't offer any discount with this card, Pfanderbahn in Bregenz doesn't offer any discount with this card, etc. Compared with other regional cards in Austria for example, this one offers significantly less benefits!
The location of the property is quite far (more than 5 kilometers) from the center of Lindau and from the lake shore. If you take the bus, you have a bus stations very close to the hotel, but the bus ride to the main points of interest in Lindau will require more than 20 minutes. There is no fridge in the room, there is no coffee machine or kettle in the room. The breakfast is fair, but the options are quite limited: for example you have a plate with cold meats for breakfast (the same plate every morning), but there are available exactly 3 or 4 pieces of each type of cold meats, knowing that at least 12 tables were occupied all the time in the breakfast room (so quite lots of people). So, if you like a certain type of meat and all 3 or 4 pieces of that meat are gone, you have to wait for all plate to become empty in order for someone from the staff to replace the plate and the same applies for pastries, which is quite intriguing when you pay more than 155 euros per room per night! You simply cannot put a single plate with a few pastries for breakfast for more than 24 people, when each one has paid at least 155 euros per room per night!!! Also, they serve dinner (at an additional cost - which is not low at all!) in the same location, but the menu is written only in German and it contains specific words which are difficult to translate in other languages and, on top of it, the waiter that served the dinner for our table didn't know even one word in English, which, again, is at least to say intriguing for an accommodation situated in a very touristic area! It's a shame to have a waiter that doesn't understand even the English words "draft beer" in a touristic restaurant with high prices, like this one! So, as a conclusion, the price paid is way too high for the service offered, taking also into account the distance from the lake shore to the property!
