Location and food were exceptional as were the staff. Parking was very easy and appreciated.
It was quite warm in the room so a fan in the bedroom would have made it more comfortable.
We changed our plans one day to spend the day at the pool/lake. Unfortunately there were not very many chairs available and yet there were piles of broken chairs. The staff said they did not have the parts to fix them. We had to use broken ones for most of the day and my daughter sat on the ground. And others coming into the facility were constantly on the hunt for chairs that were not broken. That was highly disappointing and I would have expected more/better from such a top notch hotel. I was very sorry that we cancelled our plans for that.

Stylish facility with friendly staff.
Clean and well located if you came with a car. View of the lake.
Very good breakfast with good service.
We weren't told they are hosting a large group on those dates.
Some of the facilities were reserved for the group, and it was noisy until rather late (12:30-1)
Another issue, the corridor next to the stairs on the first floor (access to some of the rooms) smells terrible from the cooking downstairs. I guess they can remedy that easily.
Also, why would you charge for parking on your premises?

Wonderful
The breakfast was a wonderful addition to our stay. The staff was incredibly helpful sharing directions and arranging a fishing trip for my husband. Our room was very comfortable; our daughter stayed on the sofa pull-put in our suite. We were only there one night and didn't use any of the facilities but they were very attractive!
It was a very last minute stay so I didn't get a favorable rate, yet I didn't necessarily expect one, either?

We had a lovely room with comfortable bed. A nice sofa to sit and relax. Fantastic large bathroom for 2 people to easily get ready. Superb breakfast!!
It would have been nice to have coffee making facilities in the room

This hotel is wonderful! Old world charm with modern updates to the rooms and facilities. The lobby and sitting area where we had a welcome drink was elegant with a nice view of the lake. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with choices galore and the dining area was absolutely beautiful with more views of the lake. Our room was perfect with ample space and a sitting area with armchairs and a table. There was a ton of closet and shelf space as well. One thing we experienced that seems very common all over Germany is having two twin beds pushed together as a king sized bed. It's really not any issue and the bed and bedding were super comfortable.

It was very classy and yet comfortable. Extremely clean. Incredibly nice staff. Excellent location with such a breathtaking view. I loved getting a relaxing massage before leaving and I particularly enjoyed dining at the restaurant and the breakfast near the really big windows. Every guest is made to feel very important.
Honestly - I can’t wait to come back.
I can’t find anything I don’t like about the property.

Lovely hotel, a feeling of history and grandeur, and the generally older clientele make for a setting of manners and politeness. The restaurant staff are nice and the buffet style (half board) evening meal was nice. The Lido and pool (bit cold) at the lake are so nice.
The wifi was non existent in the rooms, the children sat in the hall way near the main building if they needed it. This could so easily be fixed, as I have read previous comments with the same remark. The furniture and bathroom is outdated but comfortable and clean. Of course at a like side you expect some mosquito’s but no possibility of opening a window with a protective net of some kind. As the rooms have no air-co, being able to open a window would be nice. Also charging 13 euro’s a night for the hotel guest parking made no sense when you are charging premium prices for the rooms.

1) There was no A/C it felt like we were in a steam room while we were sleeping.
2) The food was so terrible.
3) The building is so old it needs some renovation.
4) WiFi is bad… so slow
5) The shower gel smells like olive oil… ugh.
6) The town was not worth the visit… I’d rather staying at Meersburg.

It’s lake front, with a park right next to it. The dining rooms are beautiful with fantastic view of the lake. Nice sauna and spa service.
The furnishings in the room are outdated. Could use a facelift.
