Historic charm, clean hotel and room, great location, friendly staff, beautiful small restaurant. They had a waterbed in the room which I was sceptical off at first but then I had a great sleep.
The iron to iron my shirt on the top floor was a bit cheap.

Wonderful Junior Suite. Spacious and clean.

I loved my stay at Victor's Residenz. It's right next to the station, which meant it was easy to find and there were lots of shops close by. As well as being easy to arrive and depart it was also very easy to get trams from outside, for instance to go to the Battle of the Nations Monument just 20 minutes away. The old town is just over the road so I could easily walk to the main tourist areas. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. My room was amazing, and incredible value for money. The bathroom even had a bath. Breakfast was very nice. I have to point out that my room overlooked the tram stop outside the railway station, and some people may find the tram noise distracting, but I love rooms that overlook the city at work and this was my dream of a view. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, which is true of Leipzig generally as well as this hotel.
I can't think of anything I didn't like, other than I didn't stay long enough in Leipzig. Oh, I've just thought of something, they have the capsule coffee machine things in the rooms and being British I would much prefer a kettle, but that's really searching for something to whine about.
