Shame that they charged extra for the spa. The changing room area could do with renovation, and it was a bit confusing where the mixed sauna actually was… there was a sign but it wasn’t there. Breakfast could have been a bit more varied

Our stay at The Westin Leipzig was truly wonderful. The staff were attentive and professional, the in-room dining was delicious, and the bartenders were exceptionally skilled. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a perfect night’s sleep. We also appreciated how pet-friendly the hotel is – they even prepared a cozy dog bed for our dog, which was a lovely touch. The location is convenient, and although the weather wasn’t ideal, we were lucky to receive an upgrade, which made our stay even more special.
However, there are two areas that could be improved: The swimming pool requires an extra fee, which is quite unusual for a five-star hotel and felt a bit disappointing. Also, in the complimentary fruit plate that came with our upgraded room, one of the fruits was spoiled — I bit into it and was honestly quite shocked. This is a basic quality-control issue that shouldn’t happen at this level. Other than that, everything else was wonderful. A very comfortable, elegant, and pet-friendly hotel that I would still gladly recommend.
