We absolutely love staying at the Seaside. It’s always our preference while in Leipzig. The staff are so friendly and the room was very clean & spacious. We were impressed with the powerful air con too.

The location is the star of the show. It's right in front of the main station, so you can walk everywhere or easily access the station with heavy luggage without any problems. The staff were warm and attentive throughout. Our room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed and more. One practical touch that made a real difference was that the WC was separate from the shower and sink, so two people could get ready at the same time without getting in each other's way.
Our room faced a narrow pedestrian street, which turned out to be quite lively at night. Sleeping with the window open was loud enough to keep me awake, and one night I lost sleep entirely. Closing the window made the air feel stuffy, and the air conditioning unit was not a comfortable alternative for me personally. The thermostat was also a bit fiddly to get right. One other thing worth mentioning: our room had two small windows in the wall between the bedroom and the bathroom, which means your roommate can see in while you shower. A minor quirk, but maybe worth knowing about.

Location is great, over the road from the main train station and a short walk into the centre.
Staff were brilliant even sorting a early check in on my second day as I was changing rooms, this meant I could check out of 1 room in the morning and straight into the new room for day 2 saving me having to wait around until 3pm to do so.
Hotel is really clean.

First of all, the spa was good, especially whirlpool. Mosy of all, the receptionist names, Hampel ( Kiwi ) who worked at night shift when we stayed, was so friendly and taking care of us very well. She kindly made arrangements for spa and tried to help us on needing even she's alone then. Hampel was really a service mind staff for hospitality career which is pretty rare to find here, especially with foreigners who can't speak German. Thank you so much. ❤️ Anyway, the bed of double room quite disappointed us as it's not that comfortable much with separate blankets. However, we like it there. The breakfast was kinda nice and plenty of foods to sit in the train atmosphere! Recommend for everyone who likes to stay really near to train station though. Bests, Tata&Micha
The bed in double room, and some staffs who don't seem to be nice and service mind. It's unusual for us to see not friendly staffs in standard hospitality, but it's not that too bad just should have more service mind like Hampel does.

Centrally located and modern hotel. Good beds and a choice of soft and firm pillows. Large choice of foods at the breakfast buffet. The staff was friendly and helpful, e.g. with hot water for tea in the room.
The hotel had no guest parking (which we knew) and we had to make use of near by parking garages and we had once that the cheap next door one was full.
The breakfast is served in the basement, which was overcrowded every morning and it felt congested. The overflow of guests could take their plate and eat in the lobby/bar area upstairs, which we felt more comfortable doing. As it was lighter and quieter than downstairs.
The hotel rooms could benefit from an in-room coffee and tea option. I could get free hot water from the hotel bar for my tea, but that meant to go up and down for it.
