Completely renovated in April 2017, the MEININGER Hotel Leipzig Hauptbahnhof is perfectly located in the heart of Leipzig. The nonsmoking hotel offers a 24-hour reception and free WiFi in all areas. Location was perfect, train station 5 minute walk and main square less than 10 minute walk. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Luggage storage before and after checkout. Room was clean and perfect for our one night stay to visit the Christmas Markets.

I travelled on business and had to stay for one night near the central railway station. The Meininger Hotel completely fulfilled my needs. It is located within walking distance of the central railway station, and the standard offered was just what I needed.

I do not eat breakfast but the coffee was excellent. I love the location , friendly staff, cleanliness, facilities, luggage minding, everything.

The location is very good. The price is very good because it is more a hostel than a hotel.
The rooms are very small. The staff did not mention the guest kitchen so we didn't use it. There was a fire alarm because of the kitchen and no compensation was offered.

Wonderful
Modern, tastefully furnished hotel with a spacious, clean, and bright room. Friendly staff and convenient luggage storage before/after check-in. Great facilities with a bar, lounge, and 24-hour reception. Excellent location just minutes from the main train and bus stations. I’d happily return.
