Breakfast consisted of breads, meat, cheese, fresh fruit, yoghurt, scrambled and boiled eggs, bacon, olives, cereal, coffee, tea, juice, jams. Greek restaurant on first floor. Convenient street car and bus and S-bahn stops.
No elevator. On the 4th floor and had too much luggage. Staff helped on arrival.

Good breakfast and coffee. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice and clean room. Interesting decor. Very close to the public transport...S-Bahn. So, very easy to reach the city center/main station.
Nothing much around, save for a Greek restaurant in the same building. Not a very scenic location, so not much to admire outside one's window. Rooms were pretty, but the wooden stairs leading to the rooms and the floorboards in the room creaked so loudly when walking around! I didnt really use their Wifi since I was out most of the time, so I cannot comment on that. I wasn't too comfortable with the system to lock the room, which was basically turning an old key in the door, nothing electronic. When in the room, I just left the key in the door and basically had to lock myself in, otherwise, anyone could really open the door from the outside.

Very Good
A different way to travel. Old building, antique furniture, small suites, cozy dining room, no elevator, narrow stairs, traditional beer bar next door, good breakfast and excellent service. Easy access and free parking if you arrive not too late at night.

Our experience at this property was extremely disappointing, primarily due to the owner’s terrible treatment. We had specifically booked a room with a large bed for two, but upon arrival, we were given a room with two single beds. When we contacted the owner to address the issue, he was dismissive and unwilling to listen, stating, “We can talk about this the whole night.” He insisted that we would need to pay for an upgrade to a superior room to get a bed for two. With no other options late in the evening, after an 8-hour drive, we reluctantly stayed in the assigned room. The beds were terrible—uncomfortable, noisy vintage frames that creaked with every movement. To make matters worse, the footboard design made the bed unusable for my partner, who is 1.95m tall. This was one of the worst experiences we’ve had, both in terms of service and accommodation quality. We would never return or recommend this property to anyone. Such unprofessionalism and lack of care are unacceptable.

Located on a busy road with no lay-by. Steep narrow steps leading up to reception. No staff between 8pm and 8 am. My request for a blanket was ignored and I woke shivering under a couple of sheets in an unheated room. No breakfast until 8 and we had to leave earlier Booking.com failed to provide credit card information to hotel so we were unable to settle our account before we left. The 8.5 rating is absurd.

noise to the main road, room was facing the main road breakfast was charged in arrears, i booked with breakfast and was under the impression the breakfast price was included in the price i had to pay an additional Eur 42

Wonderful
This was a comfortable and stylish hotel , mixing old world ambience with modern convenience. The staff were very helpful and we liked the reasonably priced honesty bar.
For the price in a good location, there was not much to dislike.
