We chose this hotel because it is close to the main train station. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was very good. Our room, #514, looked out at the main street but there was no problem with street noise because the windows were very soundproof.
The bathroom was small and we were given only one bath towel, instead of two.

The room was lovely, good size and super quiet.
The staff were super friendly.
The shower was amazing, we were surprised by how well thought out it was. The room was clean and felt modern, not cluttered or old like most others.
There was no bin bag in one of the bins, especially when staying with dogs it would be great to have lined bins as otherwise the food tins cause a mess in the bins. The bin the bath did have a bag but the lid had been thrown inside it.
The pillows were too soft for me but then this is a personal preference.

I had to catch an early train so proximity to the Hauptbahnhof was important. It was also just a short walk to the Altstadt and restaurants. Room was quiet, clean and cool (without being refrigerated).
The towels in the bathroom were not exactly luxuriant but they get the job done.
