Excellent hotel in the center of Leipzig with a large, clean room. Exceptional soundproofing (our room was just below the rooftop terrace, but we couldn't hear a thing). Beautiful rooftop terrace with a great view of the city. Although it's not possible to reserve a parking spot in advance in the hotel's garage, we had no trouble finding a space as there were always a few spots available.
Parking at the hotel is quite expensive compared to other underground garages in the city, but since we wanted parking within the hotel, especially because of the luggage we had with us, it was acceptable.

Hotel is close to many city attractions which you can reach by simply walking.
Good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Safe neighborhood.
Close to a lot of restaurants, cafe bars etc.
Several means of transportation in the city are available in front of the hotel.

Expected rooms to be better, nothing wrong with them, but for a price of over 200EUR per night definitely underwhelming. The digital checkin experience was bad, got an email but all the images were missing so had to checkin at the counter anyway.

The location was exceptional, right across the street with pedestrian crossing from St. Thomas Church, which is practically next to the Market Sq., the historical, local and touristic hub of the city. The convenience of prime location, yet with elegant privacy. We had the most serene views of the front of St. Thomas church in its garden setting from our windows. Next to the church is the Bach museum and lots of little restaurants nearby, at reasonable prices. Also options of popular food chain stores for families with children. About a 5 minutes walk to St. Nikolai church and 10-15 minutes to the Hbf . The highlight of our visit was the Easter Sunday worship service listening to the St. Thomas boys choir, orchestra and soloists.
An electric kettle in the room would have been perfect. There is a coffee/tea maker in the room but only uses capsules.

The location was centric, check-in & check-out can be done online. Comfortable bed, good breakfast, nice touch with free minibar. Lovely rooftop bar.

Overall pleasant stay. Location was great, quiet area and near great restaurants and bars. Only downside, room cleaning was mediocre. Dirty dishes weren’t replaced, mini bar and coffees were never refilled. But overall, the location made the stay worth it.
