A very nice and cozy family hotel, simple but with taste. Very friendly staff. Clean room, nice furniture, bathroom is spacious and has everything you need. Nice breakfast with just enough to make you happy in the morning. Located next to several stations (5-10 Min walk).
Quite small breakfast room although the very friendly waiter was preparing the tables very fast for the next guests. But I guess we were there just at a very busy weekend.

Wonderful
The hotel would appeal to anyone who likes hotels with "character": it's in an older building, with attractive "period" wallpaper and a traditional look. Staff are helpful, and make you feel welcome. Room rates are reasonable by German standards. It's only a few minutes' walk from Augustusplatz where trams and buses leave for all parts of the city. Recommended for those who want comfort on a budget!
One constraint of the building is that the breakfast room is rather small. Occasionally, when the hotel is full, it can be difficult to find a table for three or four. The space in my (single) bedroom was adequate, rather than generous, though the big bathroom made up for it.

The breakfast room had a pleasant, quiet atmosphere. Tables were cleared as soon as possible. The fare was appropriate to the price - very reasonable. I had a small room with a single bed which was comfortable even though set against a wall. The shower was excellent. The hotel is located in an area close to the City and has good free parking outside.
The hotel is not manned continuously.

The room was large.
The third floor and the room had a bad smell. Opening the windows helped a bit. But it kept me from sleeping as the smell was worse in bed. I guess it's the carpet. Bathroom looked clean, but the room wasn't made. Only stayed two nights, which was quite enough. Hotels were expensive at the time in Leipzig, still this felt more than what it's worth.

Location, comfortable room, breakfast
My spouse and daughter arrived about 17 o'clock. Earlier we've informed administration about late check-in and got the key code in advance. To find the place and get to the room was easy. The room appeared big enough and comfortable but not cleaned up at all. Garbage, dirty towels, laundry, bathroom... Such "Welcome!" from the room service. Because of late time it took about hour to get in contact with administration (phone doesn't answer, just answerphone, we drop the voice message) plus about hour to get the room done. All this time my family wasn't able to have shower, lie down and have rest after hard trip. Sad ((

Convenient arrival. I contacted the hotel representatives in advance and they gave me instructions on how to check in when the reception is not open. There is a parking lot nearby, which is very convenient. The room was clean and there was everything you need. The breakfast included in the price pleased me - a large selection of snacks and drinks.
