The bathroom was nice.
We never received check-in instructions. We had to call several times until someone finally answered and gave us instructions while we were on the train to Leipzig. We were worried we would have to make new reservations. We arrived and no one was at the reception or bar. Very poor communication. The room was fine but had construction buckets in the kitchen. Didn't really look like the pictures. Check out was good and the lady was nice.

Wonderful
My partner likes to sleep longer and the separation between bedroom and kitchenette was appreciated. There is an EDEKE supermarket nearby and while there appears to be a very good transit system, we only needed to use it once (for Völkerschlachtdenkmal, which we highly recommend) because everything else on our list was within walking distance (Bach Museum, Gevandhaus, Stasi musuem, and many more) It is an interesting building. Leipzig is a wonderful city.
The large courtyard is a very active venue for social happenings and the chatter and celebration can continue well into the nights (more particularly on weekends); however, that is part of what makes the place very interesting.

Cozy hotel close to downtown, but in a quiet neighborhoods of beautiful old brick houses. Well renovated and with good facilities the hotel is a beautiful place to stay. Hotel and rooms follow movie themes, so room No 007 gets the references to Mr Bond, James Bond.
Room service (cleaning) is only on request and only covers towels and dustbin. Apart from this, everything was fine.

Location was very close to the Mitte. Quirky pension with a pretty courtyard and good breakfast (15 euros pp). We had a 3 bedroom apartment which allowed out family to spread out a bit. The theme to the "Aegypten" apartment was kind of hilarious!
It might have been nice to have fans in the bedrooms to keep the air moving. We were admittedly there when it was hot. The high ceilings help a lot, though. Coffee or tea in the room might have been nice, but not really necessary.

The location is good, easy walk to the city center. The apartment is spacious, but I am not sure if this is a good thing, see below. The courtyard is very pleasant, also we parked the car on the street (it is free after 19 and before 9).
The bathroom was disgusting. I mean really disgusting, it reeked of sewage so bad it made us nauseous. The shower also was dirty. The apartment is large, too large, so it is not cleaned properly. There was a missing floor panel in the hall, walls and furniture were scratched... I travel a lot, but I need to dig deep in my memory to find such a disappointing place. And it was not even cheap (we paid 122 euro).
