The hostel is very nice and its location is perfect. The staff was very helpful and though we arrived before the check-in, we could easily leave our luggage in their luggage room.
We were given a room on the first floor and there were no net curtains on the huge windows. Therefore, we had to be very cautious about our privacy

Location
MISLEADING photos, we booked a double bed room and got a crappy hostel dorm room for 4 people, even though we were the only two guests it was uncomfortable and the space felt like a dorm/hostel not what was shown or described, it was extremely noisy in the morning and night as we were in the dorm section and near the stairs where everyone passes to the early breakfast. If i wouldve known this would not have picked this hotel/hostel and wouldve gone for an alternative for the same price, even if a bit further from the center. We asked the receptionist and she told us they had all other rooms booked so they placed us here (frustrating). So take your precautions when booking as you might be redirected to another room.

The room was surprisingly spacious, with separate spaces for the bunk beds and the double bed. There were also two toilets, which was super convenient for our family of five. There was a little outdoor space with table and chairs - I know it is to accommodate smokers (we don't smoke), but my kids loved going out and sitting in the sun. We didn't really take advantage of the kitchen space outside of putting stuff in the refrigerator, but all the necessities were there as far as I could see. Check-in was quick and easy and all the staff that I interacted with were super friendly. The hotel was steps away from several restaurants and we were able to easily walk to many of the sites we wanted to see in Leipzig. My kids love eating breakfast at the hotels and this one did not disappoint. It was super budget-friendly and had a good variety of options.
The room had very high ceilings, which meant it was very echoey. Not such a big deal, but I did worry that the noise from my kids would be amplified and possibly bother other people.

The 4 bed room is was occupied with people have low standards for cleanliness. so I had to change my room to a single room and I paid the difference.
