The room looked directly out on St. Thomas Church and the lovely courtyard. With our window open, we could hear the choir practicing. Definitely an "I slept with Bach" experience. Breakfast menu was exceptional. Weather was perfect...magical weekend.
Really, nothing comes to mind. I suppose I could say more ventilation in the fitness room, or free bottle of bubbly in our mini fridge, but those are unimportant.

As a Bach fan, I really appreciated the location. Being right across the street from the Thomaskirche is the reason I chose this hotel. The breakfast was great, and I really appreciated the 'living room' on the main floor: I used it to sit and charge my phone after I checked out.

The position, in the old part of the city opposite the St. Thomas Church, was ideal for an Easter trip. The beer garden, cafes and restaurants and crafts Market were right outside the door. The area's shopping looked good, although I did not investigate that. The hotel is a lovely boutique hotel. It also has apartments, where I stayed, that are well equipped for self catering. The bathroom was 5* standard. There is also a breakfast restaurant with a chef on hand to cook up your eggs, as well as a sitting room for guests to meet up. The staff are great and very helpful. The Bach museum is right next door if you are interested.
I can't think of anything that I did not like.

The location two doors down from the Bach Museum and directly across from the Thomaskirche couldnt be better. The music-themed room was comfortable and attractive.
Its hard to find anything negative to say, but the Illy coffee machine in each of the rooms is not the best choice environmentally. Too many plastic pods.

Its a cute little hotel in the middle of the old town, the room was spacious and cosy and the staff was very friendly
The facilities are on the older side. The ventilation/heating was extremely loud, had to turn it completely off in order to sleep(it was 0 degrees out) , the lighting in the room is very dark with no possibility to make it lighter, and the hairdryer is very old(took me 30 to dry my hair)
