The apartment was large and spacious with high ceilings. I loved in being in one of the older buildings in Leipzig, a city so full of history. The rooms were warm and decor modern with comfortable reminders of the zoo nearby. It is very well located, close to the main station and a main shopping centre yet far enough away to have quiet space away from the buzz. The old city is walkable and I just loved my stay here.

Despite its central location, the flat was very quiet and the blackout curtains were excellent - I slept very well. The 24 hour reception was great, especially when I lost my keycard. The night clerk Sebastian went out of his way to assist me. I appreciated the all-day coffee and tea as well. The building itself is interesting, with a beautiful staircase and the decor of the studio was tasteful. Easy access to the train station and central Leipzig on foot and there was also a major tram stop for when I travelled farther afield. I appreciated being close to the park with the zoo, it was nice to run in. Would recommend and return!
I did not love the DIY approach to cleaning the kitchen/dishes - I appreciate the cleaning staff not wanting to find a huge mess, but asking each guest to rely on the previous one's hygiene standards feels a bit ambitious. There was an odd smell in the hallway outside my flat, but it could not be smelled inside the flat. I would have appreciated clearer instructions on how to separate the rubbish for recycling.

Every member of staff I encountered was very friendly and helpful. I had a room to the back of the property and despite being in the middle of town and having the window open all night, it was very quiet. The bed so comfortable. great shower.
There was no power socket near the table and all others were in use, so had to unplug a lamp every time I wanted to charge my phone or laptop.
