The room and lovely shower
At the reception i needed to pay city tax, I found that very customer-unfriendly and inhospitable. After all, I'm staying here and already bringing my money. I'm being met with stinginess and greed of Leipzig via a hotel. And at the reception, I had to enter my phone number again, after which I later received a vague text message from an unknown number saying "hello Mare." I don't like that at all. Discretion is required.

The hotel has an excellent Greek restaurant and the staff are friendly & helpful. There is a fridge and a microwave in the room.
The fridge was not very cold. A kettle in the room would be useful.

The room was good value for a cheap price.
I stayed here while working remotely on USA time, so reliable internet was essential. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi stopped working late at night. I called reception twice around 1 a.m. to ask for help, but the staff were dismissive and told me they were “too busy” to look into it. This lack of urgency cost me an entire day of work. A hotel that advertises Wi-Fi should ensure it’s functional, and at the very least, show willingness to assist guests when problems arise.

We booked this hotel because the price was outstanding. The hotel met our expectations. Our room was relatively clean/comfortable/quiet/spacious (however, exceptions are noted below). If the price is right, we would probably stay there again.
-- The wifi didn't work in our room (#107) on either of our phones. It worked fine on both of our phones in the hotel lobby. -- A barking dog in room #109 disturbed our sleep, before 07:00. -- There was a used container of ice cream in the freezer compartment of the refrigerator. Based on the smell, it had been there for some time.
