Nice, old and definitively German-style building. Placed in a very convenient place, at less than 200mt from the East gate of the Central Station and at a few minutes walk from the city centre.
The shower floor becomes slippery when wet. To protect the showering guests, especially the aged ones, I would suggest adding anti-slip stripes to the shower floor and/or handrails on the wall.
The western face receives plenty of sunshine in the evening, which causes a room on that side of the building to warm up. Opening the windows lets noise from the street traffic into the room.

I liked the short distance to the Leick train station, and the attentiveness and politeness of the staff. Also, the large breakfast room.
During my stay, there was a little bit of construction noise, but I travel a lot and I find this is the case almost everywhere

The price.
There could have been curtains over your bed that would provide more comfort and privacy. That is important, especially solo travellers, because u are forced to stay with random, sometimes very unpleasant, like my stay, people.
No lockers for your clothes and items.
But I guess for the price you can not really complain, but seeing as I was grouped with very unpleasant people, I can not give a high review, because that would not reflect my experience.

Cannot beat the price! Located right across the bus station which we need to catch the bus early in the morning! Worked out great! Great location and place went quiet right on schedule at 10PM Great couple nights sleep. I was so impressed I booked a room for my son who slept in an 8-bed room the last night.

It is just across the Flixbus station. I needed a place to stay for my early flight in the morning, only 15 minutes by train with DB to the airport.
For one night, it is just perfect.
I could not do the online check-in, but there was a person at both the cafeteria and reception desk, so we managed.
