The location is beautiful and quiet. There is a real feeling of family here maintaining this farm building and the entire tiny town of Kromsdorf for that matter. We had a rental car and used this as a base for sightseeing all over southeast Germany. But the nearness to the beautiful city of Weimar means you never have to go far for anything. The family apartment was spacious and had everything we needed.
The upstairs room gets a little warm in August. When we opened the windows we got mosquitos.

Made very welcome, no evening meal available but the owner recommend local restaurant. As I had a long drive they kindly tarranged pizza hich wS added to my bill. Garden to eat in and a cold beer, what more can you ask for. Great place to stay.
