Gigantic room, huge bathroom. Very nice lobby, art deco with a few quirky design elements added in. Friendly staff. Excellent double glazing that keeps out any possible outside noise. A short walk to the train station and there is a large and very well priced parking garage at 2 minutes walk.
It was very hot during our stay and the room did not have air conditioning. A fan was provided by the bed but the room was still very hot despite that we opened the windows for as long as possible to let in cool air at night. Curtains did not block the sun completely in the morning and should be replaced with lined black-out curtains especially on the sun facing side of the building.

I liked the style of the room but it is a bit unusual for hotels rooms. It's comfortable but esthetic is according to a 70. style. It was nostalgic to me but might not be for everyone. The breakfast room was in contemporary style and elegant. The breakfast was diversified although not with abundance. I liked it.

Rooms are spacious and staff is realy helpful. Breakfast is complete with salty and sweet choices. Location is great, right by the city center

Staff was really helpful and nice despite the late hour of my arrival due to a train breakdown.
There was a loud noise (probably a generator). Only possible to sleep with the windows closed. Too loud for the prize offered. No food available in hotel, either.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was allowed to borrow a kettle. The bed linen and towels were clean.
Overall, the hotel (except for the 1st floor) has very old furnishings. 60/70s bathroom with dark lighting. The room has small lamps whose switches you have to get out. Dirty and stained carpet (I only dared to wear in socks) and so war the chair. Handles on the wardrobe were missing. Room locks old and insecure, no additional safe is provided. Fridge available but empty and off. Mattresses have waterproof cover, so the covering sheet squeaks on the waterproof cover. Cheap pillow fillings. Construction site in lobby, railings renovated only to 1st floor.

it is located quite central, beautiful interiors
half of the rooms face the Bier Garten, it was almost impossible to sleep for half of the night.

The location is just spot on. Close to the train station and just a stroll away from the city centre. While the premises are obviously dated, they are kept in great condition by the staff. The rooms and bathrooms (as well as all the common areas) are spot on and there is really nothing to complain about. The rooms are generously sized. This is an upside or an aged hotel - modern ones either do not have such a large rooms or charge many times more. The staff was friendly and attentive.
The rooms lacked air conditioning. While there were fans, it was not sufficient and opening of windows was necessary. This created the noise problem - both for the room facing the street (very loud) and the "backgarden" which neighbours with a restaurant / club (quite loud at times). The breakfasts were far from perfect. The choice was dissapointing (even for an omnivore) and non-existent for a vegan. There were long periods during breakfast service were a significant part of the dishes / juices / etc was "out".
