This hotel, nestled next to the River Fulda, has a rich history. Originally built as a Carmelite monastery in 1298, it now offers a delightful breakfast, exceptional service, and an amazing staff.
The only downside to the heatwave we experienced during our stay is the absence of air conditioning.

The hotel is very special, like a castle or was a castle. The staff is very friendly and prepare extra bed for my kid even I don't ask for it, which makes me feel warm. Breakfast is super. Location is very close to the downtown.

Rate parking just of excellent as room cost a lot would maybe think parking is part of it. Bathroom was lovely just could hear the other person using it ?. Although not an issue as was my wife. Breakfast was very good

The fact that it’s a building with a history. The quality hygiene products in the en suite wet room.
The Superior Single Room (if I got what I booked) isn’t much more than a broomstick closet. The carport for parking has an open roof so expect to go to the car wash after your stay as the birds seem to like the location. Stay away from the breakfast as it’s extremely underwhelming for the price; examples include a poorly maintained coffee machine and dried out vegetables.

Restaurant was nice both outdoor and Indoors
The rooms were were unusual with wooden beams if not paid attention would hit your forehead even while walking into the room. There was not even a coffee machine ( we were provided a hot water kettle upon request ) The shower would not stay on its position and it was tilting down due to which I had to hold it in my hand.

Overall feel of the hotel was lovely, the outdoorsy dinner was really awesome, enjoyed the bar area and the reception staff was wonderful.
Would be nice to have a coffee machine or tea making facility in the room.
