Housekeeping kept showing up at 8am. Luckily left after seeing that I was still in bed. Breakfast buffet closes way too early (10am sharp, in a strict German way).

It is conveniently located very close to - albeit on the back side of - the station Kassel-Wilhelmshhe for long distance trains. It was alive with food available in the late evening.
The buildings age shows, also in the fixtures.

We have stayed at the Penta in Kassel on several occasions as it is ideally situated in a quiet street close to Wilhelmshhe station. The breakfast is always excellent and we also enjoyed a meal in the restaurant. The staff are pleasant and helpful and the Kassel travel card supplied by the hotel makes sightseeing easy. Bis bald!
