spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and very convenient both for arrival/departure at Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe train station and for the trams into town and up to the wonderful palace and park. free public transport ticket was a pleasant surprise

Cleanliness was good.
A very standard hotel that seems to present itself as more high-end than it really is. The room and facilities were okay, but nothing special - everything felt quite basic. For the price, we expected a higher level of comfort and service. Overall, it was fine for one night, but not great value for money.
