Nice location at the river
Overpriced, unfriendly and not for families
Very disappointing stay at Hotel Red Cat. This place is a complete rip off. Everything is charged extra: parking, use of the swimming pool (even for a quick dip with my three kids which was the main reason why I booked) and 14.50 Euro per person for breakfast - including children! The breakfast is not worth the price: limited choice of fresh fruit and salad, mostly liquid eggs, and everything appears optimized to maximize profit at the guest‘s expense. The rooms are poorly equipped- no mini fridge, no coffee maker, no proper shampoo and a tiny sink. Staff were unfriendly and inflexible, with no appreciation for families or kids. When I requested an early check in, the response was very unfriendly. They insisted on check in after 4 pm and check out by 10 am which is not in line with industry best practices and highly inconvenient for families. It’s also clear that the hotel is cutting costs by employing cheap labor from Sri Lanka and Russia which further signals that the focus is entirely on profit, not on guest experience. DO NOT stay here, especially not with children. Poor value, poor attitude , poor hospitality.

The accommodation for our motorcycles was great and convenient. The staff was extremely helpful and the restaurant was very convenient. Breakfast was well prepared.
We didn't have any thing that we could have been better.

The river view was stunning. The room was huge.
There was no sound proofing. You could hear every single person walking down the hall or poem a door.
The drive way was scary with snow and ice. No safe way to walk down to hotel entrance.

Nice area with riverside. Hotel has it's own sauna and pool with warm water, for additional cost which is not so expensive (10 Eur) it's very nice to relax there. Also nice restaurant where you can choose really tasty meals and drinks. Nice personnel. Good bathroom.
Price for car parking is too expensive. Also room isolation should be better, as you can hear neighbours.

on the riverbed, nice views.
Good sauna, infrared cabin, steamshower, the solarium was okay but could have been better and the salt water needs salt added.
Staff (boy and a girl) at the reception when checking in were very busy with their phones. The boy behind the desk couldn't care less if we were there or not...no eye-contact, no smile, no connection whatsoever. The girl was sitting relaxed in the armchair facing the reception, playing with her phone.
Made a breakfast reservation for my wife and me, €20,00 per person, so at that price maybe my expectations were set too high...next morning, breakfast, some milk and yoghurt in big glass bottles, muesli/oatmeal/some small cut fruits, mini-mini croissants and a few bread rolls (both the Aldi bake-off @ home style), buttercups, slices of ham and cheese, cold scrambled eggs and cold bacon. Coffee/capucinno/machiato/latte/hot water all from the same machine at the end of a very empty "walled area" (cant really call it a restaurant) with an automatic sliding door (???). Trust me, you have to see it to believe me, I was so flabbergasted I even forgot to take pictures

The location is just great. Prepayment is not required. The booking process is simple and customer friendly.
Sound insulation is far from excellent. Some rooms are subject to renovation. Smoking is allowed on adjacent non-insulated balconies.
