The reception staff were warm and welcoming, and the room was clean and well-organized. Breakfast was delicious with a nice variety of options.
On the downside, the blanket material wasn’t very smooth, and the room could have been more soundproof. Additionally, there are no local buses running at night, so having a car is recommended.

Only that was close to the Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe. But you could actually just stay in Kassel and drive there or take public transportation.
False advertising!! No sauna, cafe or restaurant!!! The rooms are fine and clean but there’s absolutely no ambiance in the hotel. The hotel was dead, like in the movie the shinning… dead. They advertise a sauna and restaurant and everything is closed. The reception is closed even before the check in time! And again they advertise a sauna and restaurant and it’s closed. If it’s a seasonal thing they should warn you when you book!! As an alternative they offer to use the facilities at another hotel that’s 10 minutes by car!!! There are very few other options to eat around, I mean only two. One closes before 8pm and the other one only serves with reservations. So bring your own food and forget about relaxing. Fortunately it was a one night stay.

Great location, quiet and close to the Herkules and only 15 minutes from the city centre.
If you have difficulty walking or climbing stairs ask for a room on the ground floor just an fyi.

Nice quiet location, great little cafe on site. One of the softest and most comfortable beds I have had in any hotel. Free parking outside.

Very comfortable bed, balcony with a calming view, nicely designed shower with pebbles cemented into the floor (not slippery or uncomfortable to stand on), dog-friendly. It only takes about 15 minutes to walk to the Hercules monument (which offers a splendid view of the town below) via a nice path through the woods. The hotel is located in a neighbourhood of pretty villas, nice to walk through. Good wifi.
I could get no mobile network coverage in the area, non! No 5G, no 4G, no 3G, so if you rely on the internet - wifi is the only option. We arrived pretty late, but within the regular check in hours, and hostess was the only employee on the property, super busy, and said that we cannot be served dinner. She recommended that we go to the neighbouring hotel to eat (which we did later, and the food was really good, with an Indian twist), but still, we would have rather stayed at the our own hotel for dinner. In the morning we were a bit confused with breakfast: the still and the sparking water were not marked (everything is in German), there is no cutting board for bread (the bread basket is hung on the wall), and we were confused as to where to get the coffee and napkins and utensils from. We ended up learning that coffee, sugar, cream, napkins and utensils are delivered by a waitress. This was not clear at all and we spent a good deal of time loitering around the breakfast area looking for the stuff we needed. I wish that the proper procedure were explained to us beforehand (at check in, when we arrived at breakfast, or in printed materials provided at check in). Also the staff avoided speaking English and never smiled and seemed to be annoyed by the presence of foreigners :) But overall, our stay was pleasant.

We had a really nice time, the room was nice and spacious, nice colours and design. It was clean, bed was comfortable, we had a really good sleep, the multi-functional shower was clean. Public areas were invinting with sitting possibilites, fruit bowls all around. Breakfast was lovely, plenty of choices.
The location was perfect to do a round-tour hiking to Löwenburg through waterfalls to Herkules. Really pleasant walking path in forest.
We really enjoyed everything. Perhaps a coffee machine with more coffee choices would make it 100 percent.

Very comfortable and nice feel. Helpful staff and great location away from the city so had adequate parking.
Hard to say anything bad. The inside of the bedside draws could do with a clean out but that’s really being picky.
