I liked absolutely nothing about tge place.
Why is the cost of stay per night over 30€. This place is worth 5€ max. 30 € + extra for sheets in a 6 bed room. Shitty room with shared toilets and showers for all the rooms.
What are they exactly charging for. B3ds are narrow and just randomly placed in the room. No privacy at all.
I fail to understand hkw this place is even operating

The hot water was running fine.
I got the door keys on mobile, so late-night check-in was smooth.
First of all, to locate the hostel door was quite difficult.
The blankets were not so good to spend a cold night.
Please put some hanger or something so one can hang clothes.

"Very bad stay - not recommended!
I spent one night in this hostel and was very disappointed. The bed was broken and sagging in the middle, making it impossible to get any restful sleep.
Even worse was the noise during the night. There was loud knocking on doors in neighboring rooms, and someone kept banging against the doors in the hallway. It was not only extremely disturbing but also frightening. I couldn't sleep a wink all night.
The atmosphere overall was very unpleasant, and the accommodation did not meet my expectations in any way. I absolutely cannot recommend this hostel!"

towels only for a fee, small bathroom, no shelf to put things, I also had no chair by the bed, I had to put all my things on the floor. also too many passwords to enter. reception is only open after lunch.

nice and helpful receptionist, cleanliness and despite the fact that I was in the center it was quiet at night.
I had a problem finding the place. It is in the city center, but the back street is very difficult to find.
password, password, password...you need to have another head to remember all the passwords.
check-in only from 15:00, there was no one at the reception, when I arrived in the morning I had no opportunity to put my suitcases somewhere. It was quite unpleasant to walk around the city with suitcases.

My room was clean and quiet, with only 4 beds and they weren't bunk beds. The bathroom was clean and new. The kitchen and the terrace were nice. Each traveller has a locker and the key to it. The beds are super comfy. The curtain is thick and blocks the light well. The doors and the passcode locks on them are quiet to open and close. The location is great!
You can open the ladies' bathroom door with a passcode, no matter if there's someone in or not! There's a piece of paper hanging from the door and people are supposed to flip it to say if they're using it. Most people forget to flip it, though. They could have easily put a normal lock and skip technology for this one.
The entrance is in a passage and hard to find.
I'd have loved it to be cheaper.

I stayed at Gästehaus Kaiserpassage - Ihr Cityhostel for 4 nights and had a good experience overall. The location is excellent very close to the city center, with the tram and Europaplatz just a short walk away.
The room I stayed in had 6 beds, each with a spacious closet that works with a one euro coin, no issues there. I was lucky to get a bed that wasn’t a bunk bed and was placed away from the others, so I had some sort of privacy. One guest in the room kept the balcony door open even though it was cold, but at least the room stayed ventilated.
The showers were good, though they could use more space to place your belongings, especially if other guests are using them at the same time. There’s also a kitchen available, but I didn’t interact with the staff during my stay as I was working. I received the door codes via message, which made check-in and access easy.
Overall, the hostel provided exactly what I needed, and it was great value for the price.

Wonderful
100%, The hostel is very good. It is clean, the staff are friendly and very helpful. I read some reviews which are unjustified. The hostel is fully respectable. Note it helps to let the water run for a few minutes if one is the FIRST to take a shower in the morning to get the hot water from the boiler to the shower. Otherwise, the place is perfect. I booked here about 10 times.
Everything is satisfactory.
