check in was easy, staff were friendly, the breakfast was very good, the hallways were dark and lots of stairs with no help getting luggage up and down, parking was also good and easy access. lovely town.
better lighting in hallways and rooms, crisper sheets and new towels, some type of assistance with luggage

The reception was at the first floor (you had to take upstairs all your language)
Breakfast was 7€ and you received some eggs, bread, a slice of bread and a lazy coffee…

The location is perfect for visiting my German cousins in Bammental! Plus it's 100% German. Easy parking. The key pops out of a box if you arrive after hours. It made me laugh.
The breakfast was below average with basic cheese and cold cuts and breakfast cereal. Coffee was weak and not piping hot. The cleaning staff tried to enter our room at 7:00 am. Luckily we had the door locked.

Staying at Hotel Elsenztal was reliving a memory for me. They made room for us, even though I had not made a reservation and they had many other guests staying there. The breakfast was wonderful!!!
