We loved our stay at the DK Heidelberg! The room was very spacious with two separate bedrooms and a large bathroom. While some previous reviewers mentioned soft mattresses, we actually thought they were just right (and we prefer hard mattresses). The location worked well for us as we needed to be close to the hospital, which is just 2 stops away by tram. The tram is a quick 5 min walk and gets you everywhere. Also the staff is extremely friendly and helpful.
The pillows could have been a bit thicker and firmer. Also the bedrooms would benefit from power sockets by the bed for phone charging etc. But these are minor issues - we loved our stay thoroughly!

The host, the staff, the rooms, the breakfast, the deco (a mixture between modern and authentic), the location ( a cute little town with lots of character) everything. This was the second time we stayed here and it was even better than the first.

We stayed in a spacious quadruple room, seldomly seen in Europe. Hotel is located in a beautiful, very quiet neighborhood. Tram to old Heidelberg is a ten minute walk away. Paying for parking is totally worth it. We loved our stay.

Nicely renovated small hotel in quiet area of Handschuhsheim. Mattress was comfortable and the room size was good. Shower worked very well. Window had blackout curtains. Helpful staff.
Minor amenities like a water kettle, small coffee maker and small fridge were missing. You could not turn on the heater, so it was a little chilly at night! Breakfast is too expensive.

The room is beautiful and has plenty of space. Everything was super clean. It was very quiet at night and we could sleep very well. The stuff was friendly and helpful. The area around the hotel is beautiful.
Everything was great! Having a possibility to make a tea in the evening would have been even better :)
