The location could not be better! The staff was gracious and accommodating. The proximity to sights was amazing!
The bathroom was very small. There were no outlets in the bathroom. There was no kettle or coffee making ability in the room, however the wonderful staff helped me w coffee multiple times over. I just felt bad for asking.

Big old Castle. Our room had expansive view of the Neckar Valley. The "usual" cleanliness and comfortable bed of a Good Hotel. We were in good company-a group of bicyclists (12 or so) of our age also staying there. Best of all were the Staff, including this massive younger man who literally loped up the stairs with most of our heavy baggage (bike batteries, etc.) when we arrived. Everyone was very nice and the dinner was excellent. Right at the Bike Path!

Location is very central near the funicular .
We where assigned in a room with 5 flight of stairs. Imagine pulling 2 pieces of 25kgs luggage upstairs with no one helping you. This was not stated on the website which is deceiving. Plus there is no ac , they provided a fan that did not do anything to circulate the air . We requested it to be changed but they did not do anything about it making our stay very uncomfortable.

A dream location! If you would like to wake up to a beautiful castle right outside your window, enjoy your morning coffee on a lovely terrace with an unforgettable castle view, and see the castle beautifully illuminated at night, this is the perfect place to stay. The location is simply fantastic, and the staff and service were excellent as well. A truly memorable stay!

The location is fantastic. The steps to the castle are right outside the door and the Hauptsrasse is right around the corner. The view from the back of the Castle are hard to beat. We had to leave early to get to the airport after our stayed and told the staff we would be leaving before dinner was served. They offered to have breakfast early so our party of 6 could eat before we leave. I was very impressed with their kindness and hospitality.

Excellent location just off the Hauptstrasse with a beautiful view of the castle from the terrace. Easy to walk to anywhere in the old city. The staff was wonderful, the breakfast was great, with a wide time frame. The rooms were very clean with beautiful views of the city.
We were there during a heat wave and the rooms were very hot. That was the only negative part of our experience.
