Location was a bit far from the sights but we chose this hotel for parking since we were travelling by car. Too far to walk to the old city so we took taxis.

Friendly staff and a great breakfast.
The hotel is very old and desperately in need of renovation. The air conditioning could not be turned off, and after just one night I became sick. The overall condition of the property was disappointing, with numerous stains on the carpets, furniture, and other areas. Unfortunately, the hotel does not meet the standards I would expect from a Marriott property.

Friendly helpful staff couldnt have been better, comfortable mattress.
Issues with the bathroom lights fuses tripping lots ment one night we were told to leave light in bathroom on all night. Toilet flush issues. Room was in its prime in the 1980s bit looks like it has be abandoned since. Over priced for quality of stay. Not what you expect from the marriott brand. There were sounds like gunfire at one point and we weren't comfortable with the area as it was a little rough. Disappointed with the whole experience. Oh and air conditioning is a lie as it doesn't work!

Breakfast and dinner were good. The rooms are large.
Rooms not ready at checkin as guest befiore had a late checkout. Unfriendly lady at the reception. Pool max 1,35 deep. Terrasse full ob beas. Room with river view showed stairs… later we got another room. 100 euros not booked as guarantee but booked from acount. At checkout needed to pay full bill including dog and parking to get later already paid money back. One room refinded after an hour. Second room and extras not yet refunded after 48 hours.
