Great room for a nights stay. Receptionist was very kind and lovely during check-in. Room had one large window for great ventilation AND was also equipped with an AC that came in very handy for the hot summer night we stayed at this hotel. Room came with a small table and two round chairs. Toilet included shower gel/shampoo, came with towels and toilet paper. Room was very clean. TV came with local channels. Twin beds were comfortable and cozy to sleep in. Breakfast buffet cost about 14 euros per person, but had a variety of options to chose to from (bread, cereal, eggs, yogurt, salami, juices, salads, tea/coffee, etc.). Car parking cost 10 euros per night.
I think car parking in my view for customers should be free, especially if more than one room is booked at the hotel! Hotel was a bit of a long walk away from old town of Heidelberg, but a short car or bus ride away, thus convenient for people visiting the town with cars.

Disappointing
We did not understand why the window was wide open when we entered our room, not very safe in case you have small children running in first. But it was to cover the smell, the bathroom smelled like sewer which worsened throughout the night. Accompanied by a lot of small flies. When we reported this to the front desk the next morning it felt like they had heard it before because there was no response or expressed concern about it. Not a great way to comfort your customers.

It was clean
The worst check-in ever, after the check-in I saw the code to the room only on the screen, but, of course, got an email with some ads and promotions. The breakfast was quite scarce and not too tasty. Also, it looks like the hotel wants to save money on everything: just one elevator for a six-story building, one coffee machine, etc.

Friendly staff, decent breakfast
I expected more. There were no amenities in the room other than a TV. No glasses in the bathroom, no drinks. It was plain and simple. It is located some distance from the old and interesting part of Heidelburg. They did not have a map of the city for me at reception.

Great location, just a few minutes drive to old town Heidelberg and the castle. Very clean and comfortable hotel with ac (which was appreciated as we were there during a heat wave). Would absolutely stay there again and recommend to others.

The room was clean and had ample floor space for our suitcases. More hooks and places to hang coats would be helpful, along with a mirror in the room. We only had one mirror and that was in the bathroom.
A second set of keys would have been helpful for our group of 4. Our room was close to ground level and to keep the room cool we needed the windows open. At night with windows closed it wasn’t too noisy. The construction banging across the street at 5am was ridiculous and should be reported.
