Great location! Easy to take public transportation. Signing in was easy. Bed was comfortable.
There was no view from our room. And no parking on site. The description on Booking.com indicated parking was one of its features. But that was not the case; we had to use a public parking garage at our own expense, and we did not know that until we arrived. Staff was only available for assistance/questions during the morning.

Good location, close to the old town and shopping. Good breakfast. Basic but clean room. Parking in a shopping centre nearby then a 5-10 min walk to the hotel.
Very basic, no frills for the price (which wasn't cheap). Pillows weren't comfortable. Basically a pillow case with some fluff in it. No support whatsoever. Could also have done without the street cleaning lorries roaring past at 5/6am each morning. Bit strange having no receptionist to greet you when arriving for check-in. It's all self check in by using a code, however it worked ok.

The location was ok, but except it was very noisy till late at night. It’s on the path to the old town, so there is constantly people making a noise outside
The beds and pillows were terrible!
It was the worst night of our trip, we couldn’t get in, and the host never communicated with us !
They seriously need to spend some time on advising hosts how to. Heck in if they not available. And buy some new pillows!!

The hotel is in the heart of Heidelberg, in an old building. I was staying in a top floor, so there was a bit of a view too. The room was very clean. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast. They do say, that there is a lot of places around that can serve as well, that might suit me better, as breakfast is 10 Eur per person, but what they offer is perfectly adequate and seems to be fresh.
It is not a 5 star hotel, so any complains about it feeling dated are just silly. Nothing was broken in the room, it was quiet during the night, the bed was comfortable,there was a desk i could work on, with a working light and I could open the window for some fresh air.
The room did not have a small kettle and cups, so no chance for tea or coffee at any time. This was an oversight of myself, I could have just brought my travel kettle. Also, the Wifi was a bit flickery, which interfered with some of my work. Apart of that, everything is great.

Excellent location, nice room, good for a short trip and we might stay again next year for 2 nights
The bed could have been a bit more comfortable, too soft for us and the mattress seemed to be a bit worn out, not bad enough to make us back pain, we just noticed it. But it might be just perfect for other people.
