Exceptional
Stayed after a business trip. It was a smooth checkin and checkout. During the stay, I was amazed with how clean and well maintained the hotel was given the price. It also had complete amenities (towels, coffee, tea, water heater, etc.) , includes air conditioning and good ventilation too. After checkout, I had to stay for work meetings and the staff let me use the lobby. Since my train was later that day, the staff was very friendly to keep my bag secure while I go for a stroll in the city. Location was also great, few minutes walk to main train station and there's groceries nearby too.
The bed was quite springy, not the best quality but still comfortable :)

My room was fitted with an air-conditioner which was great for warm summer night, room was clean
Reception staff is asking for a full payment but isn't able to issue an invoice. I was asked to return the next day but then the reception was not occupied. Hotel ignores flexible cancellation policies. Escalation via booking required in order to be refunded. Bad availability via email or phone. I actually liked the place but this is a no go.

Everything was newly remodeled and very nicely done. Staff was great and most helpful.
Not a dislike for my wife or me but people should know before booking that the room sizes and furnishings, while new, are more like a hostel. There is no elevator and about 1/2 mile from train station.

Pleasant staff, very helpful with directions etc. Room (4 x singles) was big and clean, good blinds on the velux windows, pretty quiet. No noise from hotel at all. Tea/coffee provided plus vending machine and bar downstairs.
Location was good in that it was 5 min walk from station. But the hotel is next to 3 ‘red’ shops - maybe consider this if you’re bringing kids. Women sit in the windows dressed in very little. Street a bit noisy at night. Shower not great. Bathroom mirror off wall.
