Location is perfect, quality of breakfast is very good. Service members are really perfect. They are very professional, and helping to you in any conditions.
Dinner menü is not enough for such qualty. Bathroom shower section is half closed and making the floor wet during your shower. It would be better if it can be fully closed.

We couldn’t eat at the French restaurant as it was fully booked a week ahead…

Great location of the hotel in the center of Hamburg with plenty of choices for shops and restaurants nearby. The majority of the sights are also in a short walking distance. Room and beds were really comfortable. Nice and elegant decoration all over the hotel. Everything we tried from Brasserie Tortue was delicious.
Coffee capsules and tea bags were not replenished. However, as soon as we addressed the topic, hotel staff immediately took care of it. Front desk personnel could be more friendly, service felt impersonal and purely transactional.

Clean, comfortable, with efficient and friendly staff, a cosy and well-stocked bar, and a superb breakfast (try the Eggs Benedict or the Croque Maison. Or both). Located within easy walking distance of the main shopping areas of Hamburg, and walking a bit further will get you to the Hamburg Maritime Museum and several excellent restaurants.
Not the cheapest hotel in Hamburg, but you get what you pay for. If you arrive by train with any sort of significant luggage, you probably need a taxi or public transport from the Central Station to the hotel. The hotel bar and environs can get busy around Christmastime, since there is a traditional "mini-Christmas-market" set up in the hotel courtyard.
