The property was absolutely beautiful and everything was perfect. The people at the front desk were nice and helpful, the elevators were quick and spacious and the rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed.

While a bit of a walk from the train station it was not too bad as it was quieter than other hotels in Germany that I stayed at which were very close to a main station. The hotel was very close to an EDEKA which was very convenient as the mini fridge had nothing desirable even with the exorbitant prices factored out. The guest Wi-Fi was not encrypted (as is usually the case in most hotels) and although my room had two ethernet ports neither of them were active. When I informed the young woman at the front desk she said that their IT support would not be able to address the issue until the next morning. She ended up giving me the password to a secure wireless network that the hotel hosted which resolved the issue. The hotel was not too far away (~1km) from a Waschcenter which allowed me to do laundry for about €10 which was far less than the hotel's service.
The room appeared to have a door that connected the adjourning room. The door seemed to be locked but on the first night a guest was apparently having a fairly loud conversation in German that lasted about two hours. I doubt that anything could be done to reduce the noise but that was an unpleasant experience upon arrival. I didn't understand the reasoning behind the pictures and decor, they just seemed to be out of place. The shower was not enclosed so whether the hand wand or the rain fixture was used, water was guaranteed to end up on the floor like other hotels in Germany.

As far as it was busy Hamburg week, the price for the room was not match with it cost.... more over the hotel need to be refresh a bit... breakfast , even can not be commented ....
