Featuring stunning designs where history and tradition meet modernity, The Reichshof Hotel Hamburg reopened in July 2015 and is located in the heart of Hamburg. Designed in Art Déco style with high ceilings and luxurious furnishings, the rooms and suites will calm you from the busy and bustling streets of Hamburg. Each room features a flat-screen TV, air conditioning and a private bathroom with an illuminated vanity mirror and a hairdryer. Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel. A complimentary bottle of water is provided in the room upon arrival. Reichshof Hotel Hamburg also features exquisite meals inspired by local gastronomy at the property's "Stadt Restaurant". Amazing breakfast, had everything I could hope for, fresh omelettes and pancakes, cold cuts, cheeses and more. Staff was friendly and gave us great nearby restaurant options for typical German food.
Hotel location is great, but some nearby streets didn't feel safe.

Great location near the central train station and St George. Lovely historic hotel - very nice staff, wonderful breakfast. Be sure to include the breakfast s it’s well worth it! Rooms are spacious, bed comfy and nice air conditioning

Didn’t realize how central the location was. Was returning a rental car before checking in and the location was coincidentally RIGHT beside the hotel. I knew it was near the central station but I didn’t realize how fantastic the proximity was, especially as I was flying out the next morning so access to the train made my life so convenient. Didn’t expect the beds to be that comfy, or the shower to be so large, with such great water pressure- and the le labo is a very very nice touch. Was coming in from a wedding in Denmark and felt a little rough but the room revived me, and the water in a glass bottle was the icing on the cake. Best water lol. Overall was so happy and honestly felt very luxurious for the price, thought I was just booking a hotel for a night in Hamburg but I was so so so happy - if anything I wish I had stayed there before when I was flying in and picking up the car
I called to see if I could check in like 20 min early when I couldn’t find any parking by the Elbphilharmonie and was getting annoyed trying so I just wanted to go lay down but nobody ever picked up the phone. Was kind of upset by that but it actually worked out ended up finding a spot and exploring a ton of Hamburg that I probably wouldn’t have done, so I guess, Thankyou for also not answering the phone haha. The cute little bar was closed but it was a Sunday- had some drinks at the lobby bar instead, the women bar tenders weren’t the most polite either, (the guys were) they gave food recommendations but seemed kind of reluctant / annoyed- but as a whole everyone else at reception and in Hamburg as a whole were so kind. So impressed by Hamburg, I hope to be back soon.

I chose this hotel partly because of its location - very close to the train station. I did not expect such a beautiful, comfortable hotel; everything we needed was in the room - coffee/water/toiletries/space for clothes and to sit and put our feet up. An amazing choice for breakfast, and lots of areas to sit and relax in the evenings. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

It's a beautiful period hotel steps from the train station. Room and beds were comfortable and AC worked very well during a hot couple of days. Elevators...no bag drag up stairs. Breakfast is very good at the hotel, and any number of restaurants within a short walk.

Our room wasn’t cleaner properly, many hangers and shelves were full of dust. There were no slippers or a mini-fridge to keep something cool in the room.

It's conveniently located, close to the central train station, and all public transportation. Easy walk to the old town and shopping area. Even though it's on the pricey side, the breakfast is impressive with a lot of selections. The tea selection in the room is also nice.
The window opens to the central courtyard and it doesn't have a lot of sunlight. There is no view, but It's also quiet. There is no refrigerator in the room.

Room was quiet and beautiful, it didn’t have an outlook but this didn’t matter, it was serene and well air-conditioned. Beds were lovely. The location was superb - very handy when arriving by train from another city and not having to wheel bags far.
Tv didn’t have much English-language content or capacity to cast shows. But otherwise, lovely place to stay.
