Very clean, well equipped rooms, comfortable beds. Nice and modern hotel.
Had to check in late and entrance door was closed. Needed to make a phone call in order to get someone to open.

The noise from the street below. The thermostat in the rool was not working so we had to open the windows. A hotel of this caliber should have thermostat instructions or options other than opening windows

We booked the room about one hour before check-in and shortly after realized that breakfast had not been included. Online, breakfast was shown as an extra of 50 EUR for two people, while at reception we were told it would be 46 EUR per person.
Despite the mistake being identified immediately, there was no flexibility, only unnecessary discussion. As our train to Düsseldorf departed at 8:42, there was no time for further conversation or to enjoy a relaxed breakfast.
Feedback was requested online after the stay, but after submitting it in full, we received no response.

Staff at Conrad was very helpful and friendly - everywhere!
stayed in an Executive King Room and it was very spacious, great layout with a very good bathroom.
All brand-new and clean. Really enjoyed the furniture in the room, bed was super comfortable and I slept very well. Extremely quiet room which was very welcome. I stayed during the xmas period and the atmosphere was relaxed and peaceful - the spa only just opened and was not crowded at all. 2 saunas, 2 steamrooms and a large pool- all worked well.
breakfast was great, all you need with part buffet and part made to order items (staff was v attentive)
spa area might not be fully finished yet but seemed overall a little "cold", interior design felt not very spa-like and was missing finishing touches. changing rooms a little unwelcoming and untidy at times.
light mood felt also "cold" and it was lacking "atmosphere" all over in the spa area.
considering it is a 5 star house, housekeeping team could be more on it: spa and gym area and hallways were not 100% at times.

Executive suite was disappointing when compared to e.g. Conrad Hongkong, more reminiscent of a railway carriage, dining facilities were a good improvement on the previous Hyatt standard

Luxury feeling, professional personelle, à la carte breakfast, even with two small kids very pleasant stay

The Hotel is stylish and well refurbished after the change from the Park Hyatt Group
We paid EUR 475.- for a room with balcony - this price in itself is quite high for Hamburg standards
compared to other properties (Four Seasons,Atlantic or Fontenay). All of them offer a better 5* service than the Conrad. The Conrad does not offer Valet Parking (apparently they have not renewed contracts with parking space providers) so guest are stranded with their car and are running the risk of getting parking tickets.
Checkin was delayed-upon arrival there was only one clerk available. We had to wait for one hour for the luggage to be brought up to the room...this is not 5* ! In addition: Checkin with a touch pad that pobably hundreds of other people have used before is not exactly considerate/hygienic considering flue season... All in all not really a 5* star property compared with Four Seasons,Hyatt,Atlantic etc...sorry to say!
