Location is excellent close to the Congress center and not far from the center of the city. Very friendly staff. Nice breakfast.

Nice hotel located in a building with a different hotel on each floor that seem to belong to the same group. Given I booked an upgraded room, I was transferred from Fresena (floor 3) to Wagner (floor 1) which was convenient because of not having to take the elevator. Room was spacious with high ceilings, comfortable bed, and a nice view on the green area in front of the hotel. Breakfast was pretty standard but with fresh fruit which I really appreciate. The breakfast was lacking fresh nuts and fresh juices (the juice is from one of these typical hotel juice machines, it's called orange juice but has little to do with it). Staff super friendly, parking in the university parking garage great, just 150m away. There's restaurants closeby.
The bathroom was rather small and oldish, shower doors (room 14) could not close properly, the hotel should have a mechanic checking this regularly.

Very small room in old hotel, nothing wrong with it but nothing extraordinary. Great location next to university and train station. Breakfast was nice

Very nice staff and good breakfast. Great location near Planten un Blomen and near the parts of the Campus of University of Hamburg. Beds and rooms were comfortable and nice.

This is a great little hotel close to the city with plenty of buses/trains nearby. The staff are fantastic and made us feel very welcome and comfortable during our stay.

LOCATION: Absolutely perfect, nearby city center and land marks. BREAKFAST: typical German breakfast - "Brötchen mit Marmelade". ROOM: Spacy and clean.
The temperature in the bathroom was very low even though the heating was at maximum.

It was just great! I had come for Anthropolis and could easily read all material in the quiet warm hotel room before heading for the Schauspielhaus. The rich breakfast provided long support, the tea was excellent and there were lots of fresh fruit.

The Hotel was exceptional & clean, all the hotel staff were friendly and really helpful. Breakfast was excellent everything was fresh with a good choice. The location was only a couple of minutes walk from the train station, if we are ever in Hamburg again we would definitely stay at Hotel Fresena.

Staffs were super friendly
the facility was horrible, beds were really uncomfortable, I was not allowed to iron inside the room, and had to do it in a conference room with no sink. The shower was the worst one I've ever used, separate hot and cold taps, either freezered me or burned me for having showers every day during my stay. I nearly wanted to book somewhere else.

The location was very nice, near to the Congress center, the stuff were super pleasant, we even got cappuccino in the morning :) the room was spacious enough
the noise isolation was bad. you could've hear the neighbors next door walking in the room.
the spacious of the bathroom in the single room was not good.
the reception of the hotel Wagner in the evening was able to reach only through phone, there was no ring on that door..
