The room has an unique style with nice furniture, bed and facilities. The room I was spacious with a sitting place and working desk. I appreciated this. Location is the best part of this hotel, just infront of the Schone Ausicht water view with direct access to the walking/running circuit. Breakfast stuff was very helpful.
I think most hotel dont ask credit card details by phone anymore due to security reasons. I was requested to give all my details by phone, even thou I had a previous booking at booking.com.

Lovely room, perfect for parents with a child who could stay in the adjoining room. Large bathroom.
Only one caffeinated coffee pod provided per day for the machine.

The hotel is in a beautiful location near the Alster lake. It's in a period building with very nice features (high ceilings, spacious room, wooden floor, nice big windows) completely modernised and comfortable.
The staff was very friendly, though not all the information was conveyed (for example, at the check-in, I asked for a gluten-free breakfast but the morning staff didn't know anything about it so I had to wait 15 min for bread). But breakfast food was tasty and had reasonable choices also with vegan options. The room as well as the breakfast area had coffee and tea available throughout the day and late into the evening. Nice toiletries provided. Would happily stay again.
More vegan options would be nice. There were no forks at breakfast and staff were slow to react to such things.

We were deeply impressed by the Boutique Hotel Alsterblick, whose refined charm, exceptional comfort, and timeless style create an atmosphere of understated elegance. The hotel seamlessly combines sophistication with warmth, making every moment of the stay both distinguished and inviting.
Breakfast is very good and service is perfect!
Maybe a little bit further from the center, but anyway the location is great! Bus stop is 2 min walking distance.
It is just next to the beautiful Alster Lake, nice for walking. But if you need to go for business meetings, then it is 30 min walking to the center.

The breakfast buffet area is very cramped and can get difficult to maneuver when lots of persons are trying to fill their plates.
The lamps on the nightstands are not suitable for reading a book in bed, as they are too dim and diffused.
